Marmalade Pork Chops

I cannot reiterate enough how much I like an easy to prepare, but equally tasty meal. (That second part is just as important!)

I have been on an Asian kick the last few months. I found this lovely recipe on AllRecipes.com to continue this trend. It was simple to make. It was tasty. It had just a few ingredients. Delightful! (And if Asian food really isn’t your thing, this doesn’t have the *overpowering* Asian taste that some dishes can have. There’s a nice hint of it.)

How great does that look?? Is your mouth watering yet? Want to know how to make this? Look no further! Here’s what you need:

  • 5 pork chops
  • 1/2 cup of orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce

To put it all together:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mix together the orange marmalade and soy sauce. Place your pork chops in a 9×13 and pour your marmalade mixture over top of the chops. Cover your pan with foil (very important so that the juices don’t splatter everywhere) and bake in the oven for 1 hour. Serve over rice and top with extra sauce.

This came out so moist and tender! Jon said it was the best pork recipe I have made to date. I found it to be delicious, for sure…and will be making it again soon.
