Length: 28 inches
Weight: 15 pounds (??)
Bug loves observing his world. He enjoys looking at everything and refuses to simply kick back and watch things go by him. He loves riding in the cart at stores but struggles to enjoy facing backwards, and is most often twisting himself so he can see where he is going (when facing backwards, the view doesn’t change much as all he sees are Mommy or Daddy). This little guy is such a flirt, too. He loves grinning and talking to all of the ladies he encounters (we’re going to have to watch out for him as he gets older…..).
The little cutie still dislikes naps…unfortunately. He also dislikes not being able to eat (or have free access to his food) all the time. Such a guy.
Our nights are still phenomenal! Mommy is thankful, and I think Daddy appreciates it too. However, our days are still a struggle. Micah has begun taking some naps during the day; however, the frequency and duration vary greatly and make the day very difficult to plan. We now generally take a morning and afternoon nap. Maybe, one day they will be on a schedule.
We love our playtime! He loves hanging out in his jumper, playing with the musical buttons, and reaching for his puppy who has likely come over to make sure he is doing OK in there. But, his
favorite time of the day is when Daddy comes home and plays with him before bedtime. He enjoys his wooden train, musical keys, and anything else that makes noise or crinkles.
The little Bug has now started sitting up. He is enjoying his new-found freedom in being able to see more on his own (he’s done this quite well as he’s been rolling around, but he has a new perspective on things when he’s sitting up). This has allowed him to enjoy riding in carts and sitting up in high chairs. He has become an old pro at sitting up.
Our little guy is growing up so fast! It is amazing how much he has changed since he was born, and even amazing to see how he is growing and changing every single day. We are trying to soak up each moment and enjoy seeing the world through his eyes.
